The party game, Cupidtron, is a welcome innovation in the pursuit of love. As a party game, Cupidtron brings together single people that usually feel lonely and left out in any party. These lonely hearts have nobody to be with and have fun with. The party game, Cupidtron, is able to match, in an anonymous and wholesome way, participants who are mutually attracted. A party game like Cupidtron is about helping single party guests find someone with whom to have fun that last long after the party game is over! While other party games purpose is to mainly entertain the participants, the party game Cupidtron, besides entertaining, provides a service to the participants never before experienced in a party game.

All party games provide entertainment to the participants and the guest spectators. They all divert interest form serious thoughts or dispel boredom. At a party, a person that is not eating, talking or dancing is either bored or worried about something. A party game stimulates people to engage in silly activities that create some distraction to escape reality. So, party games are a good thing for parties. Yet, nothing new has been developed beyond the trivial activities of what conventional party games have offered, until now.

The party game Cupidtron incorporates for the first time a serious element to party games, not found in others, the partnering concept to help single people. With the introduction of this partnering concept, the party game Cupidtron has created a new game definition, the "antogame". An antogame is any activity one engages whose intended goal has serious biological consequences. Examples of antogames are War, Weddings, or Russian roulette to mention some. With this partnering innovation any single party guest by participating in the party game Cupidtron has a great chance to be coupled with someone having a mutual romantic feeling in a fun party game atmosphere. The party game Cupidtron performs the coupling anonymously. Only those that are coupled know about it and their match remains unknown to the rest of the participants and guests. Also, any attraction you direct at a player, via the game, remains anonymous.

I remember being in many parties as a single and not being able to find someone in any of them. I wish the party game Cupidtron was around then. I am sure this is not only my experience, but also one that many share equally, whether they are attractive or not. The reasons for not been able to materialize a romantic encounter in a party or anywhere, even though we do find people we like, are obvious and true to everybody. Fear is the main factor that leads to failure in the pursuit of love. The party game Cupidtron neutralizes this fear. Because some of us are shy and shyness is a disguised form of fear, we avoid the embarrassment of a direct potential rejection from someone we like. For some people, the fear of awkward situations, in which the right words are not articulated easily, is sufficient to avoid a flirting move towards the one they like. The party game Cupidtron takes care of this too. At last, but not least; there is always a degree of uncertainty about the feelings that someone you like has for you and that sometimes makes you hesitate or give up your desire to conquer someone’s heart, before you put your conquering plans into motion.

I was recently invited to a Cupidtron party. The place was packed with gorgeous women and handsome men, all salivating for one another. People go to a Cupidtron party to play the game with the hope of finding a potential love partner. People were charged with excitement and great expectations. Those people who new each other were asking if among those of the opposite sex they new, one had a crush on them, hoping it was someone they like. There was a lot of sizing up through gossiping with friends and intense visual contact between potential matches. People were dancing, drinking and eating like in any party. The atmosphere was tense but enjoyable. Half way into the middle of the party, we were told by the host to sit in groups of ten, five gals and five guys, around tables. We played the game and at the end, to my amazement, I saw that some lucky participants had matches and other had some admires. I was not lucky that day, I did not have any admires or a match, but I was left with this pleasant conviction that on the next game I was going to find my other half. Of course, nobody new that love had failed me that day. On the other hand, I too was not able to find out about who were the participants of matches, with the exception of one couple who made their match public. I was glad that the game Cupidtron did some good for some participants.

The party game Cupidtron is an ideal social activity for parties and other social gatherings such as get-togethers, groups of friends and other occasions. Although people go to parties basically to eat, talk, dance, enjoy other people’s company and get to know some of them, they also go to parties, if they are single, to meet potential love partners. For many of them, the pursuit of love is not easy due to fear and shyness mainly. They are afraid to approach someone they like or they don’t know what to say, they are insecure about the other person’s feeling for then and so on... Considering all these facts, the party game Cupidtron is an agreeable solution to all the vicissitudes single people encounter while looking for love and a unique revolutionary addition to parties and other social occasions.
